Bill Rianhard - Building & Grounds

My wife, Anna, and I retired to a beautiful house in Washington Park in 2005, which for a number of years was the Rectory for St. Peter’s. We moved here from Baltimore where we had lived for thirty six years. We have three children and five grand children who are all good looking, smart, show great promise and make us proud. My ancestry, on paternal side from New England, and maternal side from Virginia, traces back to the 1630’s.

I was raised in Virginia, graduated from St. Christopher’s School in Richmond and received two degrees from The University of Virginia. After serving in the Navy, my career was as a financial executive and management consultant. Anna and I were members of Emmanuel Episcopal Church, one of two venerable Episcopal churches remaining in downtown. At Emmanuel, I lastly served two terms as Junior Warden, overseeing a major renovation of mechanical, plumbing, and roof systems, which dated from seventy to nearly ninety years old. The church was attended by Lady Astor before her marriage to Edward.

Anna and I enjoy St. Peter’s immensely, and have participated in Sunday school, Alter Guild, Foyer, and other activities from time to time. I would be pleased to serve on the Vestry of St. Peter’s if elected.
