I was born in Washington, NC in 1952 and attended public schools here. During my childhood, I spent countless hours boating, hunting, and fishing on the Pamlico and Tar rivers. In 1970 I entered UNC Chapel Hill and graduated with a BS in Business Administration. Later, I received an MS degree in Industrial Engineering from NCSU and returned to Washington in 1985.
I am married to Lind Coppage Graves of Williamston, NC and have three daughters. I am a lifelong member of Saint Peters, have served on the Vestry three times and was senior warden in 2007. I also chaired the planning committee for Saint Peter’s that hired our architect and developed plans for All Saints Hall.
In 1985, Lind and I bought Reddick Equipment Company where I continue to work. This business, located in Williamston, NC, is a manufacturing facility where we design and build sprayer equipment for the agricultural, pest control, golf, and lawn care industries.
Outside interests include spending time with the family, hunting, fishing, gardening, and boating.
